Take your architectural experience to the owner’s side and play a key role in shaping complex, high-quality commercial projects from early planning through construction and closeout.

This position is well suited for an experienced architect or architectural project leader who enjoys the big-picture side of project delivery including guiding design teams, coordinating consultants, influencing important decisions, and ensuring projects meet the owner’s expectations. Rather than spending your time producing drawings, you’ll provide leadership across multiple projects and serve as a key connection between design professionals, contractors, internal stakeholders, and other project partners.

You’ll join a collaborative design and development environment that values quality, efficiency, thoughtful design, and effective project delivery.

What You'll Do:

Serve as an owner-side architectural lead throughout the design and delivery processLead multiple projects from early planning and programming through construction and closeoutDirect and coordinate external architects, engineers, commissioning teams, and specialty consultantsLead design reviews and help ensure projects meet operational, functional, and quality objectivesCoordinate decisions between internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and permitting authoritiesReview architectural and engineering documents for completeness, constructability, cost, and functionalityGuide consultants toward project milestones while maintaining expectations for quality and performanceMonitor project budgets, forecasts, consultant costs, and change ordersIdentify design and delivery risks early and help develop practical solutionsProvide leadership with clear updates regarding project progress, schedules, budgets, and potential risks

What We're Looking For:

This opportunity could be a strong fit for an experienced architectural professional who has progressed beyond primarily producing construction documents and enjoys leading the broader design and project delivery process. Relevant experience may include:

A professional degree in ArchitectureSignificant architectural or design project leadership experienceArchitectural licensure is preferred but is not requiredExperience leading complex projects and coordinating multidisciplinary design teamsExperience managing outside architecture and engineering consultantsKnowledge of design development, permitting, codes, construction documentation, and project deliveryExperience with commercial, hospitality, retail, mixed-use, healthcare, corporate, or similarly complex building projectsThe ability to balance design quality with schedule, budget, constructability, and operational considerations

Compensation & Benefits:
