The Architectural Studies Program in the Department of History of Art and Architecture at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure-track instructor to teach introductory and advanced studio courses. Studio courses have established syllabi; new instructors will not be expected to develop courses from scratch.Meet with students beyond the classroom as may be appropriate to their educational needsWork closely with the Director of Architectural Studies and Studio Coordinator to coordinate curricular plansProvide regular feedback to students in the form of in-class desk critiques, reviews, and graded assignments. Experience teaching university-level architecture studioProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchupWorking knowledge of Canvas.
