Job Description:

The PEGA Lead Business Architect will lead multiple teams of developers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements, process flows, use cases, and supporting integration documents into fully functional applications that meet user needs.

This role serves as a liaison between business users, stakeholders, and technology teams. The Lead Business Architect will work closely with the Lead System Architect and leadership team to define business and technical strategies. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, use case development, and enterprise software delivery, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the liaison between business and technology teams, translating requirements between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work with business product owners, stakeholders, and lead business analysts to gather user stories and translate them into business requirements.
Understand the business vision and translate it into technology impacts and solutions.
Collaborate with technology teams to develop solutions that meet business needs.
Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks.
Participate in multiple project roles as needed.
Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to understand business problems and define solutions.
Capture functional software requirements and translate them into user stories.
Coordinate with product managers and stakeholders to facilitate backlog reviews.
Manage software functional requirements throughout the SDLC.
Lead business process modeling, change management, functional design documentation, and test execution.
Document requirements, test cases, and training materials.
Support enterprise-level software configuration and deployment.

Required Qualifications:

9+ years of relevant work experience.
7+ years of business analysis or related experience.
7+ years of use case development experience.
7+ years of experience managing software functional requirements throughout the SDLC.
7+ years of experience in Agile software development environments.
7+ years of experience documenting requirements, test cases, training materials, and functional designs, as well as leading test execution.
7+ years of experience with enterprise-level software configuration and deployment.
PEGA Business Architect certification.
Minimum of 4 years of post-certification experience as a PEGA Business Architect.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Four-year college degree or equivalent technical study.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in an organization that develops and delivers software to customers.

Position Requirements:

This is a hybrid onsite role based in Trenton, NJ.
Candidates must be local and available to work a hybrid schedule of 3 days remote and 2 days onsite per week.
In-person interview is mandatory.
PEGA Business Architect certification is mandatory.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of post-certification experience.
The date of PEGA certification must be documented.
A copy of the PEGA certification must be submitted along with the resume.
