About Us

Fine Architects is a boutique New York City architecture firm specializing in high-end residential work. Projects include apartment and townhouse renovations on the Upper East and Upper West Sides of Manhattan, along with select houses in the Hamptons. Our work emphasizes high quality design and craftsmanship.

Position

We are seeking a Project Architect with at least 5–10 years of experience to lead projects across all phases of design and construction. The role involves close collaboration with principals, clients, and consultants on highly customized residential projects.

Responsibilities

Lead project coordination and development across all phasesProduce and oversee detailed drawing sets, including millwork and interior architectureManage project timelines and coordination with consultants, contractors, and fabricatorsNavigate co-op/condo approvals and DOB filingsLead and participate in client meetings and site visits

Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture (M.Arch or B.Arch)At least 5–10 years of experience, with high-end residential focusStrong experience with pre-war renovations in NYCProficiency in AutoCAD (Revit, Rhino, or SketchUp a plus)Knowledge of NYC codes and approval processesStrong design judgment and attention to detailSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
