Pre-K12 Project Architect

A well-respected, employee-owned architecture firm is growing their team and seeking a Project Architect to join its growing Sacramento office.This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful Pre-K-12 educational projects, collaborating with a team known for its strong culture, technical excellence, and commitment to improving communities through design. The firm provides a flexible hybrid schedule, long-term career growth, and a highly collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesLead the technical development and delivery of Pre-K-12 projects from design through construction administrationProduce and coordinate construction documents, specifications, and consultant drawingsEnsure projects meet applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and educational facility standardsCollaborate with project managers, designers, consultants, and clients throughout all project phasesParticipate in client meetings and support project planning, coordination, and executionAssist with construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, and site observationsQualifications6+ years of architectural experienceExperience working on K-12, higher education, civic, or other institutional projects preferredStrong technical and construction document expertiseProficiency in RevitAbility to coordinate consultants and manage multiple project responsibilitiesLicensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure preferredStrong communication and teamwork skillsWhat They OfferEmployee-owned firmHybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote)Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsStrong project pipeline and long-term stabilityCollaborative, people-focused cultureClear opportunities for growth and leadership development
