Preservation Architect

Founded in 1939, FPC provides a broad range of services including planning, preservation, architecture, and interior design. We are an enthusiastic and creative workplace, looking for the right person to contribute to our design process. We are looking for a talented preservation architect to join our team. Ability to coordinate small projects and manage small project teams, as a Project Manager, Project Architect, and/or Construction Administrator, as scheduled.Understanding of historic preservation and historic materials, including experience with the following:Interpreting and applying the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards,State and federal historic tax credit programs,Conducting building assessments,Historic preservation specifications, including Speclink,Assisting with the development of conceptual designs into detailed documents,Knowledge of building systems and ability to coordinate with consultants.
