Preservation Architect

LAS is seeking to fill a Project Architect role with a specialty or concentration in Historic Preservation projects. The role would include the following:

Historic Research on buildings.
Writing narratives or creating graphics for preservation planning documents.
Condition Assessments/Fieldwork.
Revit production of construction documents for primarily rehabilitation projects.
Assisting in the preparation of presentations and proposals including graphics and renderings.
Construction Administration Services during construction.

LAS has a strong mentorship culture and will create opportunities to orient new hires to how we as a firm perform these tasks.

Our client portfolio includes federal, state and municipal entities as well as private clients and non-profits. The work ranges from the rehabilitation of historic campus buildings, theaters, fortifications and historic house museums. LAS offers both planning and design services.
