Role Description The Principal Architect is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the overall architectural vision and technical strategy across multiple projects. This role involves defining architecture standards, reviewing solution designs, and guiding teams in the development and integration of complex systems. The Principal Architect collaborates closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable architectural designs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring technical teams, performing architectural reviews, overseeing integration patterns, and coordinating with project management to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. The role also includes identifying technical risks, recommending improvements to existing solutions, and contributing to long-term technology roadmaps. We are looking for individuals with an active license in California.

Qualifications

Strong background in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to define, document, and communicate complex solution architectures.Active California Architecture LicenseHands-on experience in Software Development and Integration, including designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.Proven Project Management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on quality and sustainability.Effective communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring multidisciplinary teams in a remote environment.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices is highly beneficial.
