About the Firm

We are an established, growing multidisciplinary design firm in the North Miami area providing architectural design, civil engineering, and owner's representation services across South Florida. Our portfolio spans all commerical niches in the land development industry including multifamily, retail, self-storage, industrial, restaurant, office projects, and our in-house permit expediting team gives our architects direct influence from concept through approval and construction.

The Role

We are seeking a Florida-licensed architect to lead our architecture studio as Principal Architect. You will direct design across a diverse commercial portfolio, seal and sign drawings, mentor a talented team of design professionals, and work directly with firm leadership as we scale. For the right candidate, this is a genuine leadership seat with room to grow as the firm grows — not a production role.

What You'll Do

• Lead architectural design and production across multifamily, retail, self-storage, flex warehouse, restaurant, and office projects

• Serve as Architect of Record: seal, sign, and take responsible charge of construction documents

• Manage and mentor project architects, designers, and drafters; set studio standards and QA/QC processes

• Coordinate with in-house civil engineering and permit expediting teams for a seamless design-through-approval process

• Present to clients, municipalities, and review boards; support proposals and help win new work

• Navigate South Florida jurisdictions, the Florida Building Code, and zoning/entitlement processes

What You Bring

• Active Florida Registered Architect license (required)

• 7–10 years of professional experience, with commercial project types strongly preferred

• Proven ability to lead projects from schematic design through construction administration

• Working command of the Florida Building Code and South Florida permitting environments

• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD; strong graphic and presentation skills

• A leadership mindset: you develop people, own outcomes, and communicate directly
