Job Purpose Essential Functions Provide technical feedback to product management, operations, project management, and sales engineering based on field implementation experience, customer requirements, and emerging technology needs. Over 10 years in related field.Proven results-based work experience in network engineering, field implementation, infrastructure design, or equivalent / related technical field. Advanced route / switch experience, including enterprise routing protocols, Layer 2 / Layer 3 design, VLANs, high availability, migration planning, and production cutover execution.Strong hands-on experience with Arista, SD-WAN / VeloCloud, Cisco, and Palo Alto platforms.Strong wireless implementation experience, including site readiness, configuration, validation, and troubleshooting.Ability to independently configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and related network services.Ability to interpret network diagrams, scopes of work, customer requirements, and implementation plans, then convert them into successful field deployment.Experience leading technical cutovers, coordinating field resources, validating service restoration, documenting results, and handing off completed work to operational support teams.Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical recommendations, implementation risks, and project status clearly.Certifications or equivalent experience in route / switch, wireless, Arista, Cisco, Palo Alto, or SD-WAN technologies preferred.Experience with security, unified communications, cloud applications, virtualization, or data center technologies is desirable but secondary to core networking and field implementation experience.
