Principal Architect, System Software

Owning the end-to-end system software architecture for Space-1 and future orbital platforms, the full-time Principal Architect, System Software will design a resilient inference stack, collaborate with hardware teams, and ensure reliable operation in low-Earth orbit environments. Key responsibilities Architect the full stack application from data center to firmware, ensuring fault tolerance for space operations Define manageability architecture for autonomous data centers, including remote updates and fault recovery strategies Collaborate with customers to translate mission requirements into actionable software architecture for orbital AI products Required qualifications 15+ years of experience in server/platform system software, including compute libraries and manageability BS, MS, or PhD in EE/CS or related field, or equivalent experience Proven experience building AI infrastructure for space or mission-critical systems Strong knowledge of server architecture and full-stack integration of firmware, OS, and accelerator software Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with experience in server platform programming and debugging
