Role description

We are seeking an experienced Application Solution Architect with deep expertise in Zelle P2P payments to design govern and modernize largescale highavailability payment platforms The role involves close collaboration with business product engineering security and external partners to deliver secure scalable and compliant payment solutions

Key Responsibilities

Own endtoend solution architecture for Zelle P2P payment initiatives across channels Web Mobile APIs

Design scalable resilient and secure architectures supporting realtime payments and high transaction volumes

Define application integration and data architecture leveraging microservices APIs eventdriven systems and cloudhybrid platforms

Drive Zelle network integrations partner onboarding and adherence to network standards and certifications

Collaborate with Product Owners and Business stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural solutions

Provide architectural governance across the SDLC design reviews NFRs security performance and resiliency

Lead modernization initiatives monolith to microservices legacy payments transformation

Ensure compliance with regulatory risk fraud and security standards PCI SOX FFIEC data privacy

Mentor development teams and support offshoreonshore POD execution

Support incident analysis root cause reviews and continuous improvement for production systems

Required Skills Experience

Payments Domain

Strong handson experience with Zelle P2P payments preferred or similar realtime payment platforms

Deep understanding of US payment systems P2P RTP ACH internal transfers

Knowledge of fraud detection dispute handling risk controls and payment reconciliation

Technical Architecture

Proven experience defining Application Solution Architecture in large BFS enterprises

Microservices architecture RESTGraphQL APIs messaging KafkaJMS eventdriven design

Cloud and hybrid architectures AWS Azure private cloud

Experience with highavailability faulttolerant lowlatency systems

Strong background in Java Spring Boot or equivalent enterprise stacks

Data architecture knowledge RDBMS NoSQL caching streaming

Governance Collaboration

Experience working with enterprise architecture security infrastructure and compliance teams

Strong documentation skills architecture diagrams decision records standards

Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills

Benefits

Compensation range: $129,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year
