This promise is at the heart of our culture, and it’s why our employees consistently vote us one of the “Best Places to Work in PA.” Translate business capabilities into target state, transition architectures, and architecture runway (epics, NFRs).Produce solution blueprints (context/logical/data/integration diagrams) and support threat modeling, privacy, and resilience.Apply API-first and event-driven patterns (Azure API Management, Kafka), integrate with core platforms (e.g., Facets, TruCare, Salesforce, EHR interfaces).Support application rationalization using APM tools (e.g., LeanIX, Ardooq); document TCO, redundancy, and disposition (tolerate, invest, migrate, retire).Ensure designs meet privacy & security (HIPAA, least privilege, tokenization, encryption), resilience, observability, and cost objectives.Contribute to architecture governance (ARB), standards (naming, versioning, FHIR profiles), and DevSecOps best practices.Promote AI literacy—adopt approved patterns (prompt management, RAG, PHI redaction, human review) with Responsible AI controlsPartner with stakeholders to improve flow and reduce rework in sprints/PI planning.Skills: Healthcare payer experience in at least one domain; familiarity with Facets or similar core admin systems.Working knowledge of HIPAA, EDI (270/271, 278, 835/837), CMS interoperability.Knowledge of TOGAF/ArchiMate preferred.Experience: At Capital you will work alongside a caring team of supportive colleagues, and be encouraged to volunteer in your community.
