Principal Platform Architect

Leading cross-cutting architectural initiatives, the full-time remote Principal Platform Architect will drive system-wide evolution, manage platform migrations, and ensure consistent, scalable outcomes across teams and services. Key responsibilities: Drive large-scale architectural initiatives impacting multiple teams and systems, including migrations and re-architectures Bridge platform, infrastructure, and product teams to translate changes into actionable requirements for application teams Support teams during transitions by providing guidance, removing blockers, and validating key system components Required qualifications: Strong software engineering background with experience in building complex distributed systems Proven track record of leading large-scale technical changes, such as cloud migrations and architecture evolution Solid understanding of cloud platforms (preferably GCP), Kubernetes, and distributed systems Ability to influence cross-team alignment and drive decisions in ambiguous environments Hands-on mindset with willingness to engage directly with systems and teams
