Procurement Manager (Architecture & Design)

3P Careers is partnering with a highly respected architecture, interior design, and project delivery organization seeking a Lead Procurement Manager to join its growing team in Baltimore.

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing procurement operations across a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects. The successful candidate will lead the sourcing, purchasing, logistics, delivery, and installation of furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), while serving as a trusted partner to clients, designers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Lead Procurement Manager - Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day procurement activities across multiple projects.Oversee sourcing, purchasing, logistics, delivery coordination, and installation activities.Serve as the primary procurement lead for project teams and client coordination.Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and service providers.Negotiate pricing, freight terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.Monitor procurement budgets, schedules, and overall project performance.Resolve procurement-related challenges including delays, damages, substitutions, and vendor issues.Coordinate installation activities and ensure exceptional project execution.Collaborate closely with interior designers, project managers, accounting, vendors, and clients.Mentor and support junior procurement staff while helping improve procurement processes and best practices.

Lead Procurement Manager - Qualifications

6–10+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.Experience supporting design, hospitality, construction, interiors, furniture, or project-based environments strongly preferred.Demonstrated success managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously.Strong vendor management, negotiation, budgeting, and contract administration skills.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Interior Design, or a related field preferred.
