Project Architect

McBride Homes is seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect to join our architecture team. As a Project Architect, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of residential project designs, collaborating with internal clients, designers, engineers, and the construction staff. This is an in-office position located in our state-of-the-art facility in Chesterfield Valley. Top reasons to work with us: • Growth opportunities • Diverse project list • Dynamic company culture • Excellent compensation • State of the art production software and office spaces • Dominant market leader Qualifications: • Licensed Architect in the State of Missouri, or actively pursuing licensure with the ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe • 5+ years of architectural experience, including a minimum of 3 years in residential design (production or custom preferred) • Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite • Strong understanding of residential building codes, zoning ordinances, and permitting processes • Experience producing and coordinating full construction document sets • Experience collaborating with consultants, internal teams, and construction personnel • Experience with plan standardization, options development, or value engineering preferred
