Project Architect

We are seeking a motivated Construction Manager with an Architecture degree to join our team at a VA Hospital in West Haven, CT. The role involves acting as Design and Construction Managers, reporting to a Program Manager, and collaborating with VA client staff to provide data, generate reports, and represent the client on major healthcare construction projects. The Construction Manager will be a part of a team of professionals and act as the Owner's Representative role on these programs from design through construction and closeout. The Construction Manager will be required to learn and integrate our company’s best practices related to project delivery, budget, schedule, quality and operations in the healthcare environment. Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in construction administration, construction management, or a closely related fieldExperience supporting regulated environments (federal, healthcare, or institutional) is highly desirableCandidates may be asked to provide examples or documentation of completed projects demonstrating relevant experienceRequirements of local state and federal jurisdiction in relation to the Project.Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and drawings to readily understand and assess requirements.Working knowledge of engineering services, building codes budgeting and scheduling to lead the project’s success.Additional Requirements
