We are seeking an experienced Project Architect with 8+ years of experience to work on a variety of K-12 and College & University projects. Prepare scale drawings or architectural designs, using computer-aided design or other tools.Plan or design structures for education projects for K-12, College and University markets, or other structural properties in accordance with environmental, safety, or other regulations.Direct activities of technicians engaged in preparing drawings or specification documents.Prepare contract documents for building contractors.Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, or construction time.Meet with clients to review or discuss architectural drawings.Integrate engineering elements into unified architectural designs. Some travel required throughout the State of Michigan as well as bordering states The job is performed primarily while sitting at a desk or in meetings with others. There may be prolonged use of a keyboard and computer.
