OverviewSTV, Inc. currently is seeking a Project Architect with 10+ years of experience, for our Building Group based out of our Douglassville or Philadelphia PA offices. Photoshop, Sketchup, Enscape and Vray rendering skills are a plus.Excellent design, presentation skills, both verbal and visual, and strong knowledge for generating technical details that are constructible are essential.The candidate should be a self-starter with a passion for problem solving, and an understanding that project success comes through teamwork, and a firm focus on client needs.With our Federal work we will need a US Citizen in order to qualify for the position.Essential Duties IncludeDetermine collectively with project management, the technical approach and design criteria for projects.Lead and coach junior architectural staff.Perform independent investigations, studies, and architectural analysis.Develop design details, plans and specifications.Contribute new designs, or techniques which are of material significance in the solution of important problems.Ensure conformance with STV and client standards, established architectural practices, applicable codes, and technical adequacy of design and construction.Review shop drawings and Requests for Information.At STV, we understand that our employees work hard but also seek good work/life balance.
