As a Registered Project Architect, you'll take the lead in guiding projects from vision to reality, balancing creative design leadership with technical excellence. What You'll DoLead Architectural Design & Project DeliveryGuide projects through every phase, from schematic design and design development to construction administration.Transform client goals into innovative, technically sound, and buildable design solutions.Produce and oversee high-quality construction documents, specifications, and technical details.Ensure project designs meet applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.Collaborate Across DisciplinesCoordinate with structural, civil, MEP, and specialty consultants to deliver integrated project solutions.Serve as a trusted advisor to clients through meetings, presentations, and project reviews.Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders throughout the design and construction process.Drive Project SuccessSupport project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.Anticipate challenges, mitigate risks, and develop proactive solutions.Maintain project quality, budget alignment, and client satisfaction.Stay Involved Through ConstructionLead construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, field observations, and contractor coordination.Conduct site visits to ensure the final built environment reflects the design intent and project requirements.Mentor and Elevate the TeamProvide guidance and technical leadership to emerging architects and design professionals.Champion a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and design excellence.What You BringRequired QualificationsActive Architectural License (Registered Architect)Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture10+ years of professional architectural experienceAdvanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCADStrong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and documentation standardsProven experience leading projects through all phases of design and constructionPreferred StrengthsExperience coordinating multidisciplinary project teamsStrong construction administration expertiseExceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and qualityBonus Experiencesenior living, healthcare, education, or government projectsAdobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Newforma proficiencyPassion for mentoring and developing future architectural talentWhy You'll Enjoy Working HereLocated in Charlotte's vibrant South End, our team combines the resources and expertise of an established practice with the collaborative feel of a boutique studio.
