Project Architect

We’re looking for someone with at least 8 years of professional experience, a degree in architecture, and current architectural licensure. We’re looking for someone who brings a growth mindset, not just a résumé of completed projects. Strong design sensibility and technical rigor Experience with public-sector projects and stakeholder engagement Leadership skills that inspire trust and collaboration A commitment to sustainability and community impact Excellent communication and presentation skills An open mind and a collaborative spirit Our work — from visitor centers to community spaces — is driven by respect, dialogue, and deep engagement with the people we serve. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program Current architectural licensure Minimum 8 years of professional architectural experience Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept through construction Strong proficiency in construction document production Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and construction administration Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and attention to detail Preferred A growth mindset and commitment to lifelong learning Curiosity, humility, and a willingness to challenge assumptions Strong design thinking balanced with technical problem-solving A collaborative approach and ability to build trust with clients, consultants, and teammates Passion for creating meaningful places that strengthen communities and connect people to nature
