Project Architect

RQ Construction is hiring a licensed Project Architect to join our Architecture team in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you'll work in a fully integrated design-build environment, leading the architectural coordination of primarily Department of Defense (DoD) construction projects from concept through construction. Key Responsibilities Licensed Architect (required) National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certification preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture 10+ years of experience in construction documentation for projects ranging from $30M-$150M Strong working knowledge of building systems, including civil, structural, MEP, and low-voltage systems Advanced understanding of construction detailing and technical design execution Experience with Department of Defense projects preferred Proficiency in using Revit and other design tools Demonstrated expertise from schematic design through construction documentation Familiarity with building codes, construction practices, and methodologies Knowledge of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) standards Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities Willingness to travel approximately 20-30%
