Project Architect

The Architect is responsible for planning, designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and other structures. • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Contribute significantly to all phases of architectural design, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration • Develop innovative, context-sensitive design solutions that respond to client needs and site conditions • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure technical accuracy and integration across disciplines • Produce clear, accurate, and code-compliant architectural drawings and specifications • Oversee and review work of junior staff and interns, providing mentorship and guidance • Attend client meetings, site visits and inspections; prepare meeting minutes and field reports • Research materials, products and systems to inform design and detailing • Ensure designs comply with local zoning laws, building codes, ADA regulations and sustainability goals • Manage project timelines and budgets in collaboration with project managers • Requirements: * Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution • 5+ years of professional experience in architecture • Licensure required • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, detailing and construction methods • Excellent design, communication and presentation skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Vision insurance
