Project Architect

BuildingWork is hiring for a Project Architect, 4 to 10 years experience BuildingWork is a small architecture firm with a studio on the Seattle waterfront. Responsibilities for the Project Architect position include development of project design and documentation, technical detailing, consultant coordination, preparation of project deliverables, management of entitlement and building permit processes, and construction administration. An accredited professional architecture degree (B. Arch or M. Arch)A minimum of four (4) years of professional post-graduate architecture firm experienceArchitect license or in the process of licensureExcellent communication skillsExperience working in BIM 3D design and documentation (ArchiCAD is a plus)Demonstrated experience in the documentation, coordination, and delivery of mid-size projects from schematic design through construction administrationA passion for community-focused projects, adaptive reuse, and sustainable designAble to work on site in Seattle WA Candidates should be self-motivated and interested to participate in a collaborative and creative studio environment with a culture of learning, excellence, and service.
