Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000+ Base Salary (Commensurate with experience)

About the Role

An established, multi-disciplinary architecture and engineering firm headquartered in Maitland is seeking a licensed Project Architect to help lead project delivery across an active, multi-year commercial backlog. This role is designed for a registered architect who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and excels at driving projects from early design coordination through permitting and construction administration.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural project delivery, ensuring high technical quality, code compliance, and adherence to client standards across commercial and retail programs.Serve as a primary technical point of contact for clients, general contractors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).Coordinate cross-disciplinary drawing sets with internal and external MEP, structural, and civil engineering consultants.Oversee and mentor junior architectural designers, coordinators, and drafting technicians in Revit-based construction document (CD) production.Direct construction administration services, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting field visits/punch lists.

Qualifications

Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).Active Registered Architect (RA) license in good standing (Florida license or NCARB certificate eligible for immediate Florida reciprocity).5+ years of progressive architectural project experience, with exposure to commercial, retail, grocery, or multi-site rollouts.Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.Thorough understanding of building codes (ADA, IBC, Florida Building Code), construction methods, and consultant coordination.
