Project Architect / Architectural Designer

We are a 40-year, mid-sized DFW commercial architecture firm specializing in Architecture, Interiors, and Planning, with project experience across K-12, Higher Education, Religious, Auto Dealerships, Healthcare, and Retail, located in Lewisville, Texas. We are seeking a talented Licensed Architect or Architectural Intern (actively progressing toward licensure) with 5–7 years of professional experience in commercial architecture to join our team. This role offers immediate involvement across all project phases—from schematic design through construction administration—including consultant coordination, preparation of construction documents, and review of submittals/shop drawings. Qualifications / Skills 5–7 years of experience working on commercial architecture projects (K-12 and higher education, highly preferred).Licensed Architect preferred; will also consider Architectural Interns actively pursuing licensure.Ability to produce and coordinate complete construction document sets, including detailing and drawing organization.Experience coordinating consultants (MEP, structural, civil) through all phases of design and construction.Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements (ADA/TAS), and permitting processes.Construction administration experience: submittals/shop drawings, RFIs, site visits, and field observations preferred.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required; Revit proficiency strongly preferred.Strong organization, communication, and multi-tasking skills; positive, self-motivated, and dependable team player.We offer a competitive salary and benefits including paid vacation/holidays, 401(k), long-term disability, life insurance, and 100% paid health benefits.
