RFRM Collective is seeking a Project Architect or experienced Architectural Staff member to support the construction documentation and project delivery of high-end custom residential work. This position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager and is suited for someone with 3–5 years of experience who is technically capable, detail-oriented, and looking to take on greater responsibility within a focused practice. Licensed applicants and those working toward licensure are both encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Produce and coordinate construction documents for custom residential projects under the direction of the Senior Project ManagerPrepare project specifications and compile relevant technical dataPerform design analyses, planning studies, and occupancy reviewsDevelop limited design layouts and detail developmentCoordinate with consultants and review completed drawings, reports, and calculations for accuracyAssist with permitting submissions and respond to plan check commentsSupport construction administration including RFIs and submittal review

Qualifications

Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program3–5 years of professional experience in architectureLicensure required for Project Architect title; unlicensed candidates considered for Architectural StaffExperience in custom residential preferred; familiarity with high-end finishes and building systems a plusWorking knowledge of California building codes and permitting processesProficiency in Revit and AutoCADStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently on assigned tasks
