Our collaborative culture and our innovative, sustainable approach to projects help us create buildings that matter to our world.Together, we are enhancing the quality of life globally through design.Join us and design your place with Stantec.Your OpportunityThe Boise office is seeking a Senior Project Architect to be responsible for the leadership and technical execution of project design, building code and stamping, technical quality of project documentation.Responsible for stamping and sealing bid documents;Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of professional work in part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope;Assist the Project Director in developing project staff-hours and planning schedule for his/her aspects of the project;Coordinate the layout, design, drafting, and specifications produced by other architects and technicians who assist in specific assignments;assist in the development of future project architects;Assist the Project Director in establishing project design criteria;Stay informed of new developments and systems in the field of architectural practice and design;Promote technologies and methodologies to create innovative approaches and improve technical quality of work product; keep abreast of new technologies, changes in building codes, and advances in the industry;Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents, and insure integrated design approaches & solutions.Experience using Revit software;Requires knowledge of basic firm financial metrics related to project management;Education and ExperienceProfessional degree in Architecture10 years of related experienceLicensed Architect requiredTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
