Project Architect - Civic Team

In this role, you will:

Provide high-level production supervision for complex projects involving intricate design requirements and challenging coordination needs.Assist Project Managers in all aspects of managing various projects, from small to large-scale.Ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of project efforts by coordinating technical and administrative aspects.Act as the primary liaison for clients, managing schedules, budgets, and project scope to ensure completion to their satisfaction.Oversee project communications and documentation, while maintaining strict adherence to budget controls.Estimate project needs, prepare proposals, and supervise the creation of contract documents.Incorporate relevant codes and construction techniques in all projects.Conduct site observations, documenting existing conditions and construction progress.Handle emerging challenges during construction effectively.Prepare reports including feasibility studies and recommendations.Supervise building code reviews and application preparations.Make major design decisions related to spatial and aesthetic aspects of projects.Document project progression through clear correspondence.Initiate contact with clients and town officials, ensuring clear communication.Deliver public presentations and serve as a thought leader in the field.Qualifications:

Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent, with a valid architecture license.8-12 years of experience as an architect, with proven leadership in guiding project teams.Strong budgeting and resource management skills.Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, and Bluebeam, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with Newforma software, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Project is preferred.Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.If this exciting opportunity resonates with your career aspirations and you are eager to contribute to the McMillan Pazdan Smith team, we encourage you to apply!
