Gorman & Company is seeking a Project Architect to join our Colorado Architecture team based in our Denver office. In this role, you'll lead the design and documentation of multifamily developments from concept through construction, collaborating with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders to bring impactful communities to life. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architect who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about creating high-quality housing and community-focused developments.
What You'll Do
Lead architectural design and construction documentation for multifamily and hospitality projectsCoordinate with development, construction, engineering, and consulting teams throughout all project phasesOversee building code reviews and ensure compliance with applicable regulationsManage project schedules, budgets, specifications, and consultant deliverablesSupport municipal approvals, lender reviews, and historic preservation requirements as neededProduce and manage RFIs, construction bulletins, change orders, and other project documentationCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure projects meet design, financial, and operational goals
What You'll Bring
5+ years of architectural experience focused on multifamily housing projectsArchitectural license in Colorado or active progress toward licensure requiredStrong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCADExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and complex project requirementsExperience with affordable housing, LIHTC, or hospitality projects is a plusValid drivers license & proof of vehicle liability insuranceAbility to work a hybrid schedule from our Denver office
