West Architecture Studio Employer Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited universityMinimum 3 years experience in an architecture firm settingGeneral familiarity with the logistics and standards of putting together a set of construction documentsA passion for modern/contemporary design, even if not experienceProficiency with Autocad, Revit, and SketchupProficiency with at least one rendering platform and moderate rendering skillsProficiency with Photoshop and other graphics programs to produce high-quality client presentations as well as Microsoft Office apps And while we do not expect that someone will possess all of the qualities below, so lack of one or more does not necessarily disqualify, the ideal candidate would have many of the following additional skills: 5-15 years experience practicing architectureSingle-family residential experienceStrong design and presentation skillsExperience with high-quality presentation/renderingsAbility to bring design intent/details into buildable construction details/drawingsGraphic design skills (with Adobe Illustrator or similar) to help support the firm’s marketing and graphics efforts.Proficiency and desire to assist in the firm’s social marketing presence and website maintenance.Good written and verbal communications skills This is a full-time, in-office position and you must live in the Atlanta area - though we may consider offering remote work 1-3 days per week after an initial training period.
