Project Architect for K-12 Education

What You Will Do:Develop and maintain comprehensive design and technical skills across project deliverables.Ensure adherence to BIM standards, support QA/QC procedures, and resolve clash detection issues.Plan, design, and coordinate a variety of projects, utilizing advanced architectural concepts and techniques.Collaborate with the specification writer on drawings and specifications.Review cost estimates to ensure design alignment and manage timelines according to project workplans.Facilitate effective communication within the project team through various means, leading collaborative design efforts.Engage with peers and specialists to generate holistic solutions and participate in client presentations.Meet project deliverable deadlines and maintain understanding of construction material costs in relation to the project budget.Exhibit proficiency in coordinating design disciplines to develop technical solutions.Work alongside contractors during the design and construction phases across different project delivery methods.Demonstrate knowledge of all project phases from schematic design to close-out.Thrive in team environments while self-managing and motivating creativity.Guide the production team during design and documentation phases.Provide QA/QC for design deliverables, striving for technical excellence.Work collaboratively with Project Managers and Designers in the development of project documents.Grow into a leadership role within the in-house team, collaborating with engineers and interior designers.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.7-11 years of professional architecture experience.Experience with public projects, preferably in Education / K-12 DSA projects.Proficiency in REVIT and CAD software.Willingness to travel occasionally for project tasks.Licensure preferred.Preferred Qualifications:Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.Our comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, wellness programs, flex spending, paid holidays, and time off.
