Project Architect | High-End Single Family Residential

Our client is a NYC–based architecture and interior design firm specializing in custom luxury single-family residences throughout Long Island, the Hudson Valley, and the coastal regions of the Atlantic corridor. Our client is seeking an experienced Project Architect for an open-ended, full-time hourly rate based assignment with the potential to become a permanent position. Responsibilities include developing interior and exterior construction details, preparing and managing coordinated drawing sets, coordinating with structural and MEP consultants, working closely with vendors and contractors, and supporting the permitting and construction process. 6+ years of professional experience on high-end single-family residential projectsExperience managing projects from Design Development through Construction AdministrationStrong construction documentation, detailing, and technical drawing skillsAbility to produce and coordinate complete construction document setsExperience coordinating structural, mechanical, and other engineering consultantsKnowledge of wood-frame and steel construction methodsExperience coordinating interior finishes, millwork, FF&E, and other project components to deliver a complete residenceProficiency in Revit; ArchiCAD experience is a plusStrong knowledge of building codes, zoning, permitting, and approvalsExcellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-end residential clients, consultants, and contractors Construction Administration and field experience is highly preferred
