The Opportunity:Perkins Eastman has an exciting opportunity in our Pittsburgh office. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Project Architect to perform Construction Administration who will administer construction contracts for large projects, advise on construction techniques, building codes, interpret CDs, process shop drawings and submittals, and collaborate with the Project Manager, Project Designer, and the principal-in-Charge.Our ideal candidate is excited about combining their technical skill and CA expertise on multi-family, senior living, and mixed-use projects currently underway and beginning construction in the Pittsburgh market.Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for issuing design sketches, communicating with CM/GCs daily, mentoring junior team members, and providing technical advice on projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet project and client needs.Participation in and representation of Perkins Eastman in OAC meetings.Thorough knowledge of State & Local building codes and referenced standards.Ability to provide technical guidance to junior staff.
