Project Architect Manager

The Project Architect/Manager serves as the University's owner's representative and design lead for assigned capital improvement projects, providing leadership throughout planning and design while partnering with the assigned Construction Project Manager to support successful project delivery through construction and closeout. Working collaboratively with campus stakeholders, consultants, regulatory agencies, and internal Project Delivery Group staff, the Project Architect/Manager manages the planning and design process, coordinates consultant activities, and reviews design deliverables to ensure compliance with University standards, project requirements, applicable codes, and institutional goals for quality, functionality, maintainability, scope, budget, and schedule. The position also supports procurement, construction administration, and project closeout by collaborating with the assigned Construction Project Manager to maintain design intent throughout project delivery. * Ability to prepare space plans, conceptual designs, presentations, graphics, and technical documentation to support project planning and decision-making. Essential Functions * Serve as the University's owner's representative for assigned capital improvement projects, leading the planning and design process while partnering with the assigned Construction Project Manager to support successful project delivery through construction and closeout.
