Project Architect - Mixed-Use Urban Developments

Key Responsibilities Lead the architectural design and project management of mixed-use development projects. Coordinate effectively with clients, city officials, and project stakeholders throughout the design and approval process. Develop and oversee the production of construction documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Collaborate with engineering consultants (structural, MEP, civil) to achieve integrated and efficient building designs. Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery. Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and programming for new projects in Provo . Mentor junior architects and provide technical guidance to the design team. Review construction submittals and respond to RFI's during the construction administration phase. Stay informed about current trends in urban design and sustainable building practices. Requirements Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural practice, with a significant focus on mixed-use and urban development projects. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant architectural design and visualization software. Strong understanding of zoning regulations, building codes, and entitlement processes. Proven experience in project leadership, client management, and team coordination. Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion. Architectural license required.
