Position Overview

An established, nationally recognized architecture and design firm is seeking an experienced Project Architect / Project Manager to join its growing design practice!

Now you can be part of large and sophisticated building projects being designed today. The team specializes in large-scale, ground-up buildings, with individual buildings approaching 500,000 square feet.

This design studio is experiencing significant, sustained growth with a project backlog extending through 2032. This position is being added to expand the team's capacity and support continued growth.

The Project Architect / Project Manager will have substantial ownership of projects from design through construction, while working with multidisciplinary architecture teams.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will provide both project management and architectural technical leadership throughout the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities may include:

Lead large, complex architectural projects from design through constructionManage ground-up projects and multi-building campus developmentsLead and coordinate internal architectural project teamsCollaborate closely with in-house engineering disciplinesManage project schedules, budgets and overall project deliveryDevelop and manage project proposalsCoordinate permitting and jurisdictional approvalsLead construction administration activitiesCoordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholdersOversee architectural documentation and project executionProvide QA/QC leadership throughout the projectMentor and support project team membersHelp establish project priorities and maintain communication across multidisciplinary teams

What We're Looking For

10-25+ years of professional architectural experienceExperience managing commercial, institutional or other large-scale building projectsGround-up / new construction project experience a plusExperience leading architectural project teamsExperience with budgets, proposals, permitting and construction administrationProficiency with RevitExperience coordinating multidisciplinary projectsArchitectural licensure is preferred, but not required
