Project Architect / Project Manager

Because we are a small, entrepreneurial practice, this role requires comfort with responsibility, flexibility, and collaboration across design, technical, and project management functions. Lead multifamily housing projects through multiple phases (feasibility, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and CA as applicable) Manage project scope, schedule, deliverables, and coordination with internal staff and external consultants Serve as a day-to-day project lead and key point of contact for clients, consultants, and collaborators Drive meetings, track action items, and maintain project momentum Contribute to early feasibility and planning efforts, including coordination with conceptual estimating and cost-aware design studies Support project strategy across different delivery approaches and collaboration structures Identify risks early and propose practical solutions Help improve internal systems, templates, and project delivery processes as the firm grows What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Professional degree in Architecture 7-10 years of relevant professional experience (flexible for exceptional candidates) Strong experience in multifamily housing, including market-rate and affordable housing Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and coordinate teams Strong technical knowledge of building systems, detailing, and documentation Experience coordinating consultants and navigating permitting / approval processes Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and visual) Ability to work effectively in a largely remote, self-directed environment
