Project Architect with Leadership Experience

Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant teamsCollaborate closely with clients and design partners to ensure project successMentor and guide junior staff members in their professional developmentOversee the design and execution of project teamsPerform predesign services, including feasibility studies, programming, and site analysisBuild and maintain strong relationships within the teamExecute comprehensive project workplansSchedule and facilitate effective team meetingsDevelop and deliver engaging presentations to clients, partners, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)Other duties as assignedA valid driver's license and occasional travel (approximately 20%) are required for this position. Bachelor's degree or higher in architecture from an accredited college or universityAt least 6 years of relevant architectural experienceActive architectural license is requiredPreferred Qualifications: 10 or more years of relevant experience is highly desirableProven experience preparing deliverables for all stages of project developmentExperience in providing bidding and construction administration phase servicesLEED AP, WELL Accredited Professional, or Guiding Principles Compliance Professional credentialsNCARB certification is preferredFamiliarity with state and local government processesExperience with aviation facility projects is a plusKnowledge or experience with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity and streamline tasks, is a plus.At Mead & Hunt, we prioritize shaping the future by putting people first.
