In the role of Project Architect/Manager, your duties will include:

Collaboration with designers, project managers, and other team membersLead project teams during all phases of designManage all aspects of projects for successful and efficient execution of workServe as the primary point of contact and client liaisonResponsibility for project scope, schedule, and budget alignment and managementOversee project teams and participate in staffing reviews and resource assignmentsParticipate in marketing and project pursuit effortsProvide and manage communications with clients, consultants, and contractors during all project phasesSupervision, support, and mentoring of junior staffMonitor project delivery through all phases of design and construction

Requirements

Professional degree in architectureLicensed ArchitectExtensive Revit knowledge and experienceApproximately 8-12 years of professional experienceAt least 2 years of project management experience preferredExperience with projects over 50,000sf/$15M construction cost preferredComfort with project design, construction documentation, production, and construction.Experience with detailing, building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems.Understanding of project management process and risk managementLead consultant coordination.Perform all construction administration duties including review of shop drawings, material samples, and submittals for conformance with designAssist with and review project specifications and/or coordinate with specification writerMaintain contact with clients, consultants, and contractors during all project phasesSupervision, support, and mentoring of junior staffSupport and participation in project pursuits as necessaryStrong verbal/written communication skills.A collaborative and professional work ethic.Interest in public building typologies: higher education architecture and planning, civic architecturePassion for the craft of construction and high-quality design
