We’re looking for a talented and experienced Project Architect/Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to join our practice in Atlanta, Georgia. This person should be able to perform in a self-directed manner in all facets of the building design process, including preparation of presentations, schematic design, design development, contract documents, model building, rendering, and construction administration, while adhering to budgets, timelines, schedules, and other project requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop concepts based on given criteria; use feedback to modify designsWork collaboratively with other team members as to best approachWork on high-level tasks and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneouslyProduce sets of production documents in both design development and construction documentation phasesIncrease required technical and functional skills in related technologies, including: drafting/modeling/rendering software (Autodesk Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Sketchup, AutoCAD, automation or AI platforms, or other programs); graphics software (Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and InDesign); office software (Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook); and other programs relevant to the profession including Bluebeam Revu, Workday, and othersAct as a project manager for small and medium projects and teamsDevelop relationships and interact with clientsCommunicate with client agents, subcontractors, and consultantsParticipate in professional development activities and initiatives, both inside and outside the firmBuild and maintain a network of connections within the industry; attend events central to the firm’s strengths and goalsMentor and develop team membersAny other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

A professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited institution10+ years of experience in a professional architecture environmentStrength in architectural design and visual representation through Sketchup, Enscape, Photoshop, or other programs and workflowsProficiency in Autodesk Revit, additional proficiency in Rhino, Sketchup, Enscape, AutoCAD, or other 3D modeling and rendering programs is desirable; proficiency in Revit is requiredKnowledge of project management, materials, project design, and preparation of drawings from schematic design through construction documentsExperience in all conventional aspects of architectureExperience in all phases and aspects of a projectEffective verbal and written communication skillsAble to work in a collaborative, professional mannerAble to problem solve with attention to detail and a desire to learnAble to work independently with little supervisionRequired: Architectural license/registrationOptional: LEED Green Associate or LEED AP with SpecialtyOptional: Active NCARB record
