Project Assistant / Revit Production Specialist

Indigo Architecture is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Assistant with strong Revit skills and construction-document production experience to support our Project Managers and senior architectural staff in the design, documentation, coordination, and delivery of commercial projects.

This is a hands-on architectural production role for someone who is proficient in Revit, understands how construction documents are developed and coordinated, and wants exposure to the full architectural process—from existing-condition documentation and design development through permitting and construction administration.

You will work directly with experienced Project Managers and firm leadership on active projects across Florida and other states, with opportunities to strengthen your technical expertise and take on greater project responsibility over time.

What You’ll Do
Assist Project Managers with projects from design development through permitting and construction administrationProduce and develop architectural construction-document sets in RevitTranslate sketches, redlines, markups, field information, and Project Manager direction into accurate architectural drawingsDevelop floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, roof plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and other architectural documentationIncorporate redlines and revisions accurately and efficientlyCoordinate plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and annotations throughout the drawing setAssist with architectural detailing and documentation of building assemblies and project-specific conditionsAssist with code, accessibility, life-safety, and zoning research and documentationAssist with permit submissions, plan review comments, drawing revisions, and resubmittalsOrganize and maintain Revit models, project drawings, consultant files, PDFs, and related project documentationParticipate in field surveys, existing-condition documentation, site visits, and punch walksTranslate field measurements, existing drawings, photographs, and 3D scanning / reality-capture information into accurate existing-condition models and drawingsSupport construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, ASIs, field reports, and drawing revisionsPerform quality-control checks of your own work for accuracy, coordination, dimensions, annotations, details, and completenessParticipate in internal project coordination meetings and, as experience develops, consultant and client meetings
Project Exposure

Our work includes both ground-up construction and renovations of existing facilities, giving Project Assistants exposure to a wide variety of building systems, construction types, and project conditions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related architectural field preferredApproximately 2–5 years of professional architectural experienceStrong proficiency in Autodesk Revit requiredProfessional experience producing architectural construction documents requiredUnderstanding of how a complete architectural construction-document set is developed and coordinatedAbility to work from sketches, markups, and redlines and translate them into accurate drawingsWorking knowledge of building construction, architectural detailing, and common construction assembliesFamiliarity with building codes, accessibility requirements, and life-safety conceptsAbility to read and understand architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawingsStrong organizational and file-management skillsAbility to manage multiple assignments and deadlinesStrong attention to detail and ability to review your own work for accuracy and completenessClear written and verbal communication skillsAbility to take direction, ask questions when necessary, and follow assignments through to completion
Technical Skills
Candidates should have strong proficiency in:
Autodesk RevitArchitectural construction-document productionRevit model, view, sheet, schedule, and annotation managementPDF drawing review and markupConsultant drawing and model coordination
Candidates should also be comfortable with or willing to develop proficiency in:
Bluebeam RevuMicrosoft OfficeBIM-based project coordinationExisting-condition documentation and reality-capture workflows
Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM Collaborate, Autodesk Forma, Procore, Matterport, visualization software, or other architectural technology platforms is a plus but not required.
