Project Design Architect

Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. (EUA) is excited to invite a skilled Project Design Architect to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates will be Licensed Architects (or possess equivalent experience) with a strong background in workplace or interior architecture projects.

As a Project Design Architect, you will take charge of various phases in the technical development of exciting architectural projects. Under the guidance of a Project Manager, you will evaluate, choose, and apply architectural methods and criteria while leveraging your judgment for tasks with clear objectives. Your role will include generating reports, writing specification sections, reviewing submittals, observing architectural features in the field, and coordinating with consultants.

Possess a valid License as an Architect or equivalent experience

Collaborate closely with the project team while assisting in task delegation

Support the Project Manager with various tasks and functions

Lead the team in advanced architectural techniques and procedures

Demonstrate high proficiency in BIM technology

Engage in diverse project responsibilities, including documentation and detailing

Self-manage project work and proactively engage with team activities

Contribute to assembling energy and sustainability strategies

Assist in preparing specifications and/or create them as needed

Conduct and review QA/QC processes

Review submittals, RFIs, pay applications, etc., and oversee on-site construction activities

Support and coordinate with consultants effectively

Engage in regular communication with owners and contractors

Assist in mentoring and developing junior staff

The Essentials

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

Proficiency in Revit is preferred

Experience with BIM software and visualization methods is crucial

2-10 years of relevant architectural experience

The annual base compensation for this position ranges from $65,000 to $95,000, depending on skills and experience
