We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who can successfully lead complex signage projects from award through final installation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically proficient, and capable of coordinating multiple departments while maintaining exceptional client relationships. This role requires strong knowledge of architectural drawings, construction coordination, scheduling, procurement, fabrication processes, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple architectural signage projects from kickoff through project closeout.Review architectural plans, specifications, finish schedules, and shop drawings.Read and interpret construction drawings, elevations, sections, and project manuals.Coordinate with architects, designers, general contractors, consultants, and owners.Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, ASIs, change orders, and project documentation.Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.Coordinate engineering, drafting, fabrication, purchasing, production, and installation teams.Track procurement of materials and specialty components to maintain project schedules.Monitor project budgets, labor, and overall profitability.Conduct project meetings and provide status updates to clients and internal leadership.Identify project risks and develop solutions before they impact schedules.Ensure compliance with ADA guidelines, project specifications, and applicable building codes.Coordinate site surveys, field dimensions, and installation sequencing.Review quality standards throughout fabrication and installation.Manage project closeout documentation, punch lists, warranties, and final turnover.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience in architectural signage, construction, millwork, metal fabrication, or a related industry.Experience working with Union/ PLA and Field Labor.Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.Experience coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal production teams.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.Strong knowledge of NYC building code and DOB regulations.

Salary:

$75,000 – $90,000 per year
