Join our dynamic team at an innovative firm specializing in commercial design projects across the U.S. As a Project Manager for Architecture, you will lead the delivery and performance of a diverse portfolio of commercial projects, serving as a vital point of contact for our key clients. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and client stakeholders to manage cross-disciplinary teams and produce top-quality design documentation that aligns with client expectations, budgets, and timelines. The expected salary range for this position is $105,000 to $140,000 annually. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.15+ years of experience in managing design deliveries or program management within architecture, engineering, or related design consulting sectors.Experience coordinating architects and engineers during the design and documentation phases of large-scale commercial programs.Strong grasp of commercial design programs, building codes, and relevant architecture and engineering documentation standards.Experience managing extensive project portfolios or multi-site programs.Knowledgeable in both interior and exterior architectural document development.Proficiency in project/program management software and tools including Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Deltek Vantagepoint, and Outlook.Exceptional design insight, problem-solving abilities, and a quick learning curve.Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, along with adept relationship management with clients and teams.Experience with Seattle permitting and compliance with City of Seattle Codes and Washington State Codes.Preferred Qualifications Lead project processes, maintaining clear communication with teams and clients while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.Collaborate with design leaders to establish, monitor, and manage project budgets.Prepare fee proposals and support the development and negotiation of project contracts.Ensure project profitability targets are met or exceeded.Plan, communicate, and track project milestones from client request through complete design documentation delivery.Participate in QA/QC reviews, identifying issues and implementing strategies to enhance quality across the program.Conduct weekly project reviews to monitor earned value and resource utilization.Establish and supervise the maintenance of project information standards.Develop project work plans and budgets in collaboration with Project Coordinators.Coordinate project billing with client accounting requirements for accurate and timely invoices.Support accounts receivable and collections efforts.Identify additional service opportunities and align project outcomes with client goals.Lead regular meetings with key project leadership.Oversee project closeout activities and facilitate lessons-learned discussions for continuous improvement.Supervise and mentor Project Coordinators, including performance reviews and conflict resolution.Strengthen client relationships and support business development initiatives.Perform other related duties as assigned.About Us
