Barber McMurry seeks an experienced project manager in healthcare design to join our studio. Successful candidates will be passionate about excellence and have demonstrated experience in high-crafted commercial healthcare design. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, have stellar communication skills, and will adore collaboration in a culture that prioritizes curiosity and creative intensity.
Position Responsibilities
Will lead design of healthcare projects at various scales, working closely with project team, to develop and execute our vision for thoughtful, crafted design. Candidate must be comfortable collaborating with a team, working on multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines & budgets.
Lead project team; manage project, schedule and deadlines; coordinate with consultantsCoordinate activity with Partner-In-Charge; lead client-facing presentations & communicationDelegate tasks responsibly; mentor and guide project team membersActively contribute to internal & external design dialogue
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture4-8 years of experience in healthcare design; 1-5 years of management experienceProfessional licensureProficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with healthcare codes & design best practicesAbility to sketch, digitally or by hand
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed in TennesseeSustainable certification (LFA, WELL, LEED) or experience with sustainable designExperience with SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, etc.
