Role SummaryThe Project Manager runs multiple small to midsize residential projects through all phases and assists senior project managers on larger work. Projects run two to five years, with a portfolio carrying an aggregate construction cost of $5M to $10M and annual design fees in the range of $750K to $1.5M. The role reports to a Senior Project Manager and leads project teams day to day.

• Presentations, design development, permitting, and construction documents are produced on schedule and to the firm’s standard
• Schedule and budget are developed, coordinated, and monitored rather than discovered

• Direct client contact is handled with clarity and professionalism
• Meetings produce documented decisions: minutes, site conditions, and construction progress are recorded and shared

The design survives contact with construction

• Working drawings and construction documents are coordinated so the built work matches the design intent
• Office standards and filing systems hold, so anyone can find the current truth of a project

The team grows under your leadership

• Project personnel are supervised, mentored, and given real responsibility
• You remain capable of every task at the Designer and Job Captain levels, and you model them

QualificationsRequired

• Accredited degree in Architecture
• 6 to 7+ years of professional high-end residential experience
• Licensed, or close to licensure
• Advanced skill in 3D modeling and BIM plus 2D drafting (ArchiCAD preferred, not required)
• Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication
• Ability to manage teams and multiple concurrent projects

Preferred

• Knowledge of project management tools for planning, billing, and labor tracking
