READ Architecture Design, a boutique, design-driven architecture and interior design studio based in New York City and Miami, is seeking a Project Architect to join our New York team. Reports to the Principal. Lead projects through SD, DD, CD, and CA phasesProduce and review construction documents, details, and specificationsCoordinate with consultants, contractors, and code/permitting agencies (DOB, LPC where applicable)Manage client communication on assigned projects, including meetings and progress updatesMentor junior staff as neededMaintain project schedules and ensure quality control on deliverablesLicensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure (NCARB record in progress a plus)7+ years of experience, ideally including NYC residential or mixed-use projects, and comfortable owning a project with minimal oversightStrong technical knowledge of NYC Building Code, zoning, and permitting processesProficiency in Autocad, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Monograph a plusExcellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clientsSelf-directed, detail-oriented, and collaborative in a small-studio environment Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure (NCARB record in progress a plus)7+ years of experience, ideally including NYC residential or mixed-use projects, and comfortable owning a project with minimal oversightStrong technical knowledge of NYC Building Code, zoning, and permitting processesProficiency in Autocad, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Monograph a plusExcellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clientsSelf-directed, detail-oriented, and collaborative in a small-studio environment Please send your CV and a portfolio with a selection of your work to [email protected].
