Registered Architect

Registered Architect The registered architect will have overall project management responsibilities for a variety of commercial projects and project teams to include client contact, scheduling and budgeting. Will be the main point of contact for the client from design to end of construction. In this role, you will specifically be responsible for the following: Obtaining necessary approvals from authorities Preparing specifications and contract documents, specifying building materials, construction equipment and examine relevant codes and by-laws in the course of undertaking project documentation Observing, inspecting and monitoring building work, to ensure that it is progressing according to the contract and specifications Conducting post-occupancy evaluation of projects Will be involved in project feasibility studies, strategic asset investigations, heritage studies, urban planning, interior design and/or landscape design Ability to develop/maintain good working relationships with all involved on a project (owners, architects, local officials, contractors, vendors) in order to help successfully complete projects within limits of budget and time is essential Qualified candidate must have at least 7-10 years of experience working on commercial projects and a Bachelors degree in Architecture.
