About the Role
Stillpoint AEC is partnering with highly respected architecture and design firms throughout the Raleigh area to identify Architects for multiple permanent, full-time opportunities. We are working with a variety of established firms seeking architects at both the mid-level and senior level to support continued growth and expanding project portfolios.

Responsibilities

Lead and support architectural projects from conceptual design through construction completion
Prepare and coordinate construction documents, technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation
Develop creative, practical, and technically sound architectural solutions for a variety of building types
Coordinate with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and specialty consultants throughout project delivery
Utilize Revit and BIM workflows to develop and coordinate project documentation
Participate in client meetings, design presentations, consultant coordination, and project planning sessions
Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and regulatory standards
Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, site visits, and coordination with contractors
Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and overall project management
Mentor architectural staff and support professional development as experience level allows
Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships and successful project delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program required
Current experience within an architecture, design, or AEC consulting firm required
Registered Architect preferred
Candidates actively completing the ARE examinations and progressing toward architectural licensure are strongly encouraged to apply
Experience with commercial, healthcare, higher education, K-12, multifamily, mixed-use, civic, industrial, hospitality, or institutional projects preferred
Proficiency with Revit and BIM coordination workflows required
Strong understanding of building codes, construction documentation, detailing, and project delivery
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects within a collaborative design environment
